Erica: Creative Director, Designer & Florist
My name is Erica. I am a coffee-obsessed, cookbook-collecting girl who loves the color white. I am the founding member of Paper Hearts & Company. In 2010, after working in the floral design industry for many years, I decided to strike out on my own. I primarily focus on the design, florals, and the creative details that go into each of our events, creating the look and feel. I gravitate toward lush florals and greenery but also love modern design. I seek to use seasonal, locally grown floral whenever possible. I love floral design, as well as creating many of our large scale design elements, like hand-lettered or watercolor signage. You can find our work featured in publications such as Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, and Wedding Chicks, among others. My attention to detail, keen eye for innovative design, and love for figuring out logistics help ensure that each of our events live up to our clients’ dreams.

Hannah: Lead Wedding Planner
My name is Hannah, and I am passionate about weddings because they are the one day where everyone you love is in one room to celebrate YOU! I get the honor and privilege of being the person who makes sure that day is stress-free for you and all of those people that have come to enjoy your wedding day! I have been a wedding planner in the Seattle area for the past seven years and became certified with the Wedding Planning Institute in 2009. What started as a hobby has turned into a business, and it’s one I truly love. Every moment of the wedding day is special, from the bride slipping into her dress, to the tear-filled eyes of the bride’s father as he walks her down the aisle, to the look on the groom’s face when he see the woman he has fallen in love with call him her husband for the first time. I love to watch the first dance, guessing if the bride will smear frosting all over the groom’s face, as well as that final moment when the couple leaves in their getaway car with everyone cheering. My desire is to make sure that these special memories are the ones you remember when you look back on your wedding day. When I am not planning weddings, I am outdoors with my husband and daughter, reading a good book, or pinning delicious recipes to Pinterest!

Leighanne: Associate Wedding Planner
Making memories last a lifetime is the business I love. My favorite part of a wedding is after I have fluffed the bride’s dress, fixed her hair and veil for the last time, and sent her down the aisle to her future husband, turning my eye to the groom as he watches his gorgeous bride coming toward him. Seeing the emotion in the groom’s eyes—along with a tear or two, most of the time—is the reason we celebrate. I have been working in the event industry since 2008, learning from some of the very best and using all those skills to coordinate and plan dozens of events. I have had the pleasure of having a few weddings featured in publications such as The Knot and Modern Bride. Over the past 8 years, I have gained a keen eye for detail, which allows me to focus on the small moments while my clients enjoy the big ones. Helping my clients see their vision of a perfect wedding become a reality is where I find my life’s true passion.

Rebekah: Associate Wedding Planner
My name is Rebekah. After several years in the event planning business, weddings have become my favorite events to plan and coordinate! I have received on-the-job-training while working side by side with Hannah over the past couple of years as her assistant. This past year, I officially joined the Paper Hearts team and have been taking on my own clients. I have loved building relationships with my clients and getting to know them through the planning process, ensuring that their personal style comes through on their wedding day in everything from the décor and food to the dancing, all while keeping the day fun and stress-free for everyone involved. Everyone’s wedding should go as they have planned and dreamed it to be. It is my job and goal to make those dreams a reality. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, baking cupcakes, and adventuring in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Megan: Graphic Design & Watercolor Calligraphy
My name is Megan, and I’m a Montana-mountain-loving girl. I have a passion for modern calligraphy and the art of hand lettering. Of course, I often refer to the trusty programs of the computer, but I truly believe hand lettering and calligraphy are so beautiful because they are so unique. I frequently find inspiration in the great outdoors—and Instagram, of course. I use watercolor, traditional ink + nib, markers, and chalk for any lettering I create. Whatever your event, calligraphy and lettering brings such a beautiful touch to your special day! Whether it’s branding your wedding or creating the perfect baby shower invitation, let the letters do the talking! In my spare time, I love to go skiing, hiking, and enjoy the outdoors with my husband Aaron and beautiful baby girl Nora.
